Von's 31, LLC is the name of the company formed by brothers and Boulder County natives, Bob and Scott Von Eschen, coming together specifically to design and build Mid Town Lafayette. Bob and Scott have a long history of design and development in Boulder County. For more than 30 years, they have built a wide variety of successful projects both together and separately.
Scott has worked in construction for more than 25 years, both in partnership with his brother Bob, and as an independent contractor. He has managed countless projects, from condos and townhomes, to single family homes in the Dakota Ridge, Noble Park, and Gunbarrel North developments in Boulder, the Outlook in Broomfield, and Waterford Park in Niwot, and several custom homes throughout the area. He has also been involved in construction of many other projects, including the Fairway Crossing Office Park and several homes in the new Holiday Project in North Boulder.
When Scott isn't busy with business, he is involved in parenting his four sons with his wife Julie. Scott has an over-riding personal commitment to giving. He volunteers as a Boy Scout Leader, and has recently taken his troop of boys to the Canadian Rockies for camping and hiking. Currently Scott has taken on a remodeling project for his church, and has volunteered his time and energy to use his construction talents to lead this project. The Emergency Family Assistance Program also knows Scott by name, as he has volunteered his talents for this organization as well.
Bob was one of the founders of Spectrum Building Enterprises, and is a partner in Triple V Enterprises. One of Bob's earlier specialties was the remodeling and infill development of homes and apartments in the Downtown and University Hill areas of Boulder, for which he received an award for historic preservation. His resume includes custom architectural design and construction, commercial and residential development, including homes in the Gunbarrel North, Dakota Ridge and Noble Park developments in Boulder, and the Indian Peaks and Forest Park developments in Lafayette.
Many folks in Boulder County also know Bob for his philanthropic contributions. He is a strong supporter of the March of Dimes, HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties, and the YMCA, just to name a few. He lives in Lafayette, where he indulges in another one of his passions - writing children's books. His series of stories, Road Trip, is in the process of being completed in 2007. Bob's children also play a big role in his life, though they are a bit older. His son Jason and wife Shannon own Creekside Tree Farm. Daughter Jessica is attending college, and son Grant is a junior at Boulder High School. Bob's commitment to the residents of Boulder County informs his resolve to make Mid Town Lafayette a neighborhood that is the best of what Colorado has to offer. He is committed to smart design, affordable cost and outstanding value.
