MIDTOWN Lafayette is a semi-urban neighborhood of new single family homes, right in the heart of historic old-town Lafayette. An old fashioned community environment, where you can leave your car in the garage, and walk or bike to everything you need—see our walkscore map on the right side of this page.

From your front door, it's only a short walk to the RTD stop on Baseline Road, that will take you to Boulder, Denver or Longmont.

Or, continue on across the street to the Lafayette Public Library, and enjoy a cup of coffee from the cafe while you browse the CD selection, or curl up with a book.

Feeling more active? Walk over to the Bob L Burger Recreation Center for a workout or fitness class, followed by a relaxing drift down the "lazy river." For bike & hike enthusiasts, check out the newly expanded Coal Creek Trail System, or take the kids over to the Waneka Lake Park & Boathouse.

Shopping? The necessities are all within a half mile at the local King Soopers, Walgreens, Jax Outdoor Gear; but the real shopping aficionados will enjoy perusing the shops in the Old Town Business District, where you'll find locally owned restaurants, antique stores, and our favorite gardening & floral experts among the many shops and businesses.

Whatever you enjoy doing, you can probably find it in less than a mile from your new home!
